VMAISON

WHERE: BRERA, MILANO
WHAT: BOUTIQUE HOTEL
WHO: FASHION INSIDERS
THE VIBE: COSMOPOLITAN, PLAYFULLY ELEGANT

Tucked into a quiet lane in Milan’s Brera quarter, VMaison presents itself as part gallery, part haute-design refuge. Within its walls, creativity and comfort meet seamlessly: interiors imagined by the VMaison Interior Studio blend rare materials, sculptural forms, and soft lighting to create rooms that feel elevated yet entirely liveable. The sense of discovery continues through the hotel’s private garden, where oversized windows blur the line between indoors and out, offering moments of serenity in the city centre.

VMAISON
A MILANESE HOME

WHERE ENGLISH MAXIMALISM MEETS MEDITERRANEAN EASE

In a quiet enclave between Porta Venezia and Brera, VMaison Milano reimagines the idea of a city retreat — intimate, design-led, and irresistibly Milanese. The vision of Veronica Zimbaro, founder, designer, and creative soul of the brand, the hotel feels like stepping into her world: a seamless blend of sophistication and warmth, of global influences anchored by Italian elegance. Hidden behind the façade of a 19th-century palazzo, the interiors unfold as a refined dialogue between English maximalism and Mediterranean ease — plush velvets and sculptural lighting softened by sun-warmed tones of amber, sage, and cream. Every corner feels composed yet inviting, with marble surfaces, brass accents, and tactile textures that whisper rather than shout.

Designed by VMaison Interior Studio, the aesthetic balances indulgence with intimacy — the kind of understated luxury that feels as though it’s always been there. The rooms and suites echo that same quiet rhythm, dressed in fine linens and handcrafted furniture, with French windows that open onto leafy views. Some overlook the hotel’s private courtyard garden, a rare oasis in the heart of Milan, where ivy climbs ancient walls and jasmine perfumes the air. It’s the perfect setting for slow breakfasts or aperitivi that stretch long into the evening, far from the city’s quickened pace.

At the heart of the experience is IT Maison Milano, the hotel’s restaurant and social hub. Under the direction of Executive Chef Romualdo Palladino and Head Chef Alex Pochynok, the menu celebrates Mediterranean flavours with cosmopolitan flair — vibrant, generous, and designed for sharing. The bar, led by Edoardo Raimondi, becomes the city’s most elegant living room, where geometric lighting and floral walls glow softly over artful cocktails and easy laughter.

THE DESIGN

VMaison’s aesthetic is rooted in contrast — light and shadow, texture and restraint. Stone floors, bespoke rugs, and curated art palettes set the tone; custom furniture and elegant detailing give each corner a personality. Every surface feels intentional, every room a quiet dialogue between design disciplines.

ROOMS

There are sixteen suites, each a study in refined intimacy. Expect high ceilings, fine Italian linens, and handcrafted furnishings in soothing tones of amber, sage, and ivory and some feature private balconies overlooking the lush courtyard.

FOOD & DRINK

At It Maison Milano, days begin with an abundant breakfast spread of fresh fruit, pastries, and espresso served in the leafy courtyard while evenings give way to vibrant shared plates and elegant cocktails.
